Another wedding, another story. But, this time, it is closer to home. My dearest friend since middle school tied the knot to a beautiful, gorgeous, and wonderful lady.
Wedding, the celebration of love, is a beautiful display of commitment. I am quite amazed that this current season of my life, I am experiencing the theme of “Change.” Just like my previous post, “Changes: You Have to Say Goodbye”. I can sense that my season is changing. My closest friend’s wedding is another point of view that our lives, my life, is going to another direction.
I am happy for my friend. He was patiently waiting for her. And, I admire his courage, bravery, and faithfulness in all the years when they were distant. She was only a story when we were hanging out. She was just over the phone or facebook messages. She was thousand miles away from here. And now, she’s here. They are together, happy and excited. They are soulmates, and I seriously do believe that they are destined to be together. I guess, “mayroon talagang forever.” (there is forever).
Now, for all the readers, and to the bride and groom, I want to share this passage:
Always have Christ be the center of your relationships. There will be ups and downs. There will be fire and storms, darkness and light, joy and sadness, but love will always be there. Lean on each other, and trust God with all your heart, mind, and soul. Because, His love will never fail. And sometimes, listen to your parents.
Congratulations to both of you. Make babies, lots of babies!
Maybe, one day… mahahanap ko na rin forever ko.
