2022, and the pandemic is still strong. As of now, my county is getting hit hard with COVID-19 cases. If there is one thing that I learned from this is that true leadership rises up. It also goes the other way, bad leadership can be seen and sometimes lead to very dangerous precedence.
As part of that leadership, I need to be aware of the situation that I’m facing. There are people below me that I need to take care of. There are people that I work with that needs attention; physically, mentally, and emotionally. However, I think there is a bigger problem that people that have more power needs to understand the situation is at risk. These are just several things in my mind lately. And I really hope I am wrong.
First, we are not going back to normal. It is a new era. Just a like in history, from inventing wheels for traveling to acquiring information through the internet: this pandemic is also the end more so the beginning of another era. Healthcare will be different. Productivity will be different. Labor and wages will be different. Education will be different. And, most of all, leadership will be different. Maybe this is very extreme, but I just have a keen feeling that people are seeking a true leadership. I am not talking about Trump or some current political leader. I am afraid to say, but someone that has charisma that will capture the heart of the world.
Second, the end time verse from the book of Timothy is really turning into reality.
1 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
2 Timothy 3:1-5
I am not a doomsday conspiracy kind of individual because even when I was young, there were several predictions of end of times. Even in history, early years in Europe to the beginning of World Wars, several of these words have been spurted as end times. I still too believe that the end times will not happen during my generation. Sadly, I am afraid for the future generation. I really hope I’m wrong but the ungodliness of the world has become very obvious.
With that, my final thought is that something big will occur this year. And, I really hope I’m wrong.
May 16, 2022 or June 01, 2022. If you are a believer, you have nothing to worry about, continue to live your life. If you have no clue what’s going on, then I hope I’m wrong.
